The MMD Princess Linear Switch is just one of two MMD Princess switches, the other being the Tactile version. You can observe the distinction in the stems’ varying colors. The Tactile version has a Yellow stem, whilst the Linear version has a Purple stem. A budget switch with a lot of Clack.
Primary Feature
The Linear feature is sought after by many when gaming or even when typing, perfect for those who prefer a “quieter” switch type. The MMD Princess Linear provides just that, with an Actuation Force of 53g, and a bottom-out force of 61g, it is on the medium-weight side of switches to press. Making it not too light and not too heavy. MMD also pre-lubes their switches to a great extent, making them perfect to swap directly into your keyboard without any modification needed.
Sound
The Princess switch provides a well-satisfying sound when pressed, great for typing, all in all, it is not obnoxiously too loud but also does not provide a muted sound. Notably, a sound test can be found here.
